A protector is a device mounted between the gas separator and the electric submersible motor which, in addition to its connection function, serves to: 1.Prevent the well fluid from coming into the inside of the submersible motor. 2.Leveraging the pressure inside and outside the submersible motor. 3.Support the axial thrust from the submersible pump. A variety of protector shafts are available as required by the user including drop, capsulated and compensation protection shafts.
